Datalab uses a price-per-page billing system that provides flexibility and transparency for your document processing needs. This page explains how our billing works, what’s included in a plan, and how to manage your usage.

Credits and Per-Page-Pricing

We have two mechanisms to pay for processing:
  • Per-Page Pricing: Every API request consumes credits based on the number of pages processed.
  • Credits: We provide USD credits for promotions and customer service. Once this balance runs out, we charge on a per-page basis.
Please note all charges are rounded up to the nearest cent.

Billing Frequency

Every month, you pay a fixed fee. The fixed fee functions like credits, and will be used until the balance is zero. After that, the API will be pay as you go and you will be charged for overage. If you would like to adjust the number of times you are billed for overage each month, please contact support and we’ll increase your threshold.
